The Jordan River as it looks today.
We look forward to returning home on Monday. We love and miss you all.

We were on Mt. of Olives that overlooks the city of Jerusalem.
Some of our tour group gathered in the Golan Hts. They were a friendly and fun group of believers from NJ.

We had the highlight of driving up into the Golan Heights that overlooks the Sea of Galilee.

This was an amazing city that was unearthed, showing streets columns, markets, and elaborate houses.

Finally Internet connection

Ruth was in the ruins from Solomon's horse stables.

Very unreliable internet tonight. I have been unable to send pictures. I will try again.
Ruth is on the top of the heap, so to speak. We climbed to the top of Megiddo. The section here is believed to be King Solomon's buildings for keeping horses. Ruth is near a stone water or food trough.
Tomorrow we take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Thank you Church and Pastor Tad; we are having a great time!

Seaside at Tel Aviv

After coming down from the overlook of the Elah valley where David fought Goliath, we walked along a path in the valley that was littered with stones of various sizes. Everyone picked up 5 stones. You know the story of the shepherd boy and the sling.

The Photo Taker

We had a good flight from Newark to Tel Aviv and arrived about 6:30AM. We began our tour, tired from the flight, but glad to be where the Lord walked. You have a number of emotions; it is hard to take it in that you are really here. After the places of the pictures to follow, I am writing from the hotel room that overlooks the Med. Sea at Tel Aviv. We are not far from modern Haifa, which is ancient Joppa, of Jonah's day; the sea in beautiful with the sun shining across it.
Together we sat overlooking the valley of Elah.

Good Morning Newark!
We arrived last night on time and to a clear night sky. The plane circled around and we saw what looked like Time Square with the huge megatron.
We are exited as the 2:30 departure "is at hand."
